Fun Friday: How to Deal with Teens Who are Grumpy!

If you have teenagers, you know as well as I do, that there aren't too many times that they're going to be 'that' happy.

Whether it's because they have:

homework, chores, testing, acne or strife in social circles...

Don't have:

enough money, clothes,  cell service or shares...

Must:
mow the lawn or can't get together with friends this Friday....

One thing usually fixes them pretty quick...

Laughing.

The next time your teen has an attitude find a way to (un-insultingly) have fun with them!

L.O.L.ing truly is the best medicine for sadness, stress and anger....even for teens.

While most of us realize that their complaints aren't the end of the world, and that there are a lot of people who would be grateful to have these miniscule things to worry about, teens cannot always put that into perspective when they're in the moment. So, if you cannot steal your child away and drop them into a NICU, homeless shelter, prison or underprivelaged country for a good life lesson of gratitude...then...

Make them laugh (then plan a field trip).
