4 Ways to Make Fall Decorating Easy

If you haven't gotten out the fall decorations yet, no worries, you're not alone in the world.

I know plenty of people who've just lost the love for seasonal decorating.

Their main gripe? Takes too much time...not to mention several trips to the attic, garage, or basement- (and then ya gotta put it all away).

Here are 4 ways to decorate for the fall season without getting bats in your belfry:

1) Buy seasonal scented candles like Apple, Pumpkin or Spice. The color and fragrance offer a quick transformation

2) Buy some seasonal soaps in fall fragrances (this also makes for a quick color and mood transformation). Bath & Body Works has great sales. I received Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin deep cleansing soap this weekend as a gift-yum. (Thanks G.D. & T.)

3) Bring in the outdoors: buy mini pumpkins and gourds, press some leaves in a magazine like we did, and voila!
A perfect table centerpiece (and a fun and educational activity)...

Put out a small leaf identifying book with the display and watch the kids learn.
4) One of my favorite ways to decorate (easily) for the seasons, is to reuse my summer vases in the house (or buy a bunch in different sizes and colors from the local Salvation Army, second hand store or flea market). Fill them with some fall faux stems from Pier 1 Imports (my fav) or even Walmart or your local craft  or fabric store. Believe it or not, using real items from out in your back yard works just as well (and is cheaper=ummm FREE!?)

THE BEST PART OF ALL?

WHEN FALL IS OVER- YOU CAN THROW MOST OF IT AWAY!

How's that for easy?
