My One Word 2013

freedigitalphotos.net

Sick of the same old resolutions?
Tired of boring goals which don't impact all areas of your life?

Frustrated every February when you feel overwhelmed and vow to never make a New Year's Resolution again?

I've always been a resolution maker, but often felt like my tireless list of goals just wasn't working out for me anymore. And, if I cut the list to just a couple of things, it wasn't enough. So a couple of years ago I searched for a new way to approach this and I found the solution!

For two years now I've been able to focus all year long without feeling like a failure and without getting stressed! And the best part? It improves all areas of my life!

It's a powerful concept and it's called:

Year One:
(that was hard)

Year Two:

(much easier and helpful with time management and focus)

THIS YEAR MY ONE WORD IS:

POSITIVELY

Why?

My life hasn't always been a picnic, I'm sure you can relate to life's difficulties. Though our trials and tribulations most likely are very different, we all have some sort of mountain to climb or speed bump to get over.

Ever notice that you can't get through them if you're not POSITIVE????

Everything I do I want to do with positivity and certainty...
I want whatever I do in my life to have a positive affect on me, my children and others as well.

There is enough negativity in the world, so I want to be the one who helps counteract that.

Another reason My One Word will work for me is because when I make decisions I will only make them with conviction, I will only allow things into my life which will affect me positively and bring joy to my life...

Life is too short to be negative.
There are so many instances in life where the experience could be more joyful if we had a brighter outlook.

EVERY THING I DO I ONLY WANT TO AFFECT ME IN A POSITIVE WAY IN 2013

Try My One Word. I bet you'll have success with it!
Come back and see my progress throughout the year!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Ask them what they would like to work on this year and let them pick One Word!

AND IF YOU DECIDE TO TRY THIS PLEASE SHARE!

  1. Loving the idea of a one word theme to my year (even though I am not a kid or a parent). Thanks for posting about this. I referenced it in my post today:
To Resolve, or Not Resolve, That is the Question
